References to Vant or Vant Corporate on this website refer to Vant Underrättelse AB. Victoria and HTMF Protocol identify the platform and methodology described by Vant; they are not separate contracting entities.
Our work
Vant develops blockchain and digital asset investigation technology. Our work combines transaction analysis, investigative methodology, and software to help organizations understand fund movements and document the basis for their decisions.
Victoria is our investigation platform. The HTMF Protocol provides the methodological framework for organizing source records, analysis, and investigative conclusions, including the rationale behind findings and their limitations.
Investigations support various uses: exchanges reviewing suspicious deposits or customer activity; banks tracking digital asset or stablecoin flows; lawyers evaluating the factual basis of potential claims; and law enforcement developing transaction leads. The scope and available capabilities depend on the engagement.
Our goal is to clearly link source data to conclusions and make them reviewable. Findings must differentiate observed transactions from inferred relationships and outstanding questions.
Scope and interpretation
Blockchain records show transactions between addresses but do not by themselves establish a person's identity, account ownership, or criminal intent. Address labels, clustering, and interpretations depend on sources, methods, and available evidence.
Investigation results support professional judgment. Account restrictions, disclosures, legal actions, and other consequential decisions remain the responsibility of the authorized organization or professional. A report does not guarantee asset recovery, identification of individuals, or acceptance as evidence by courts or authorities.
