Category definition
An investigative model in which autonomous agents may plan, explore and challenge hypotheses, but only verified and reproducible evidence can establish a finding.
The standard
Agentic systems can decide what to inspect next, connect evidence across complex transaction paths and construct competing explanations. Those capabilities improve investigative reach, but they do not make an unverified conclusion reliable.
Evidence-grade investigation preserves that distinction. AI may explore and propose. A declared, independently repeatable method must establish the finding.
Three requirements
The category is defined by the separation of investigative freedom, evidentiary authority and accountable release.
Autonomous reasoning plans enquiries, follows emerging evidence and tests competing hypotheses.
Only declared and reproducible methods may convert an investigative lead into an established finding.
The method, inputs, uncertainty, rejected alternatives and human decision remain available for review.
A precise vocabulary
Each expression has a distinct role. This keeps the positioning understandable without reducing the category to a keyword.

The descriptive phrase connecting the category to established blockchain investigation language.
Vant implementation
Coordinates the enquiry, frames the next question and challenges competing explanations.
